How does an individual meet and maintain the 8140 Compliance requirement?

An individual can have up to three DCWF work roles.

For each work role, they must meet and maintain several required elements per role. These are outlined in the qualifications matrix below.

What does each qualification category mean?


Foundational


Can be met through education, training, certification


A degree, if applicable, must have been earned within the previous 5 years.

Some elements may also use a foundational qualification alternative.


Residential

On the job qualification
Environment specific requirements


Continuous




At least 20 hours per year of continuous development, or the required CPD to maintain their role-required certifications
